Summary Explanation and Background:
Senator Wright’s Office requested to present a check for the $750,000 State Appropriation to The Reentry Center of Brevard for FY 2022-23.
Since the establishment of The Reentry Center of Brevard in 2019, the State has invested over $2.3 million into Brevard County. With its intensive wraparound services, transitional housing, and programming & partnerships, The Reentry Center has significantly decreased the recidivism rates of their moderate and high-risk clients in Brevard.
