FY20/21: The transportation impact fees that will fund this project recommendation were collected prior to the start of this fiscal year and are currently budgeted as Reserves for Capital Outlay in the amount of $1,270,798.27. If approved, $95,270.00 in Reserves will be re-budgeted as Grants and Aid to be disbursed to the City of Rockledge.

It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners consider approval of the project funding recommendation in the amount of $95,270.00, as prepared by the Technical Advisory Committee for the Central Mainland Benefit District on April 30, 2021; if approved, authorize the Budget Office to execute a budget change request necessary for implementing this appropriation.

The Technical Advisory Committee for the Central Mainland Benefit District met on April 30, 2021 and unanimously adopted the project funding recommendation listed below. The Technical Advisory Committee consists of one representative from the City of Rockledge, one from the Town of Palm Shores, one from the City of Cocoa, and one from Brevard County.
Project Funding Recommendation:
1. Appropriate $95,270.00 for the conceptual analysis and design of Eyster Boulevard to 4 travel lanes between Murrell Road and Fiske Boulevard.
