It is requested the Board of County Commissioners approve the proposed 2021 Board Meeting Schedule.

Summary Explanation and Background:
The following dates and/or requirements were considered in establishing the attached proposed schedule:
• Religious Holidays
• Scheduled Holidays
• School Board Budget Hearing dates
Board of County Commissioners Budget Approval:
1. The tentative millage must be certified within 35 days from July 1, 2021
2. The tentative Budget Hearing must occur between 65 and 80 days after July 1, 2021.
3. The final Budget Hearing must occur within 15 days of the tentative Budget Hearing and within 5 days of its advertisement.
The Charter requires an Organization meeting of the Board of County Commissioners to occur on the third Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
