Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners authorize the disbursement of Educational Facilities Impact Fees in the amount of $5,512,951.47 to the School Board of Brevard County in accordance with the terms of the interlocal agreement and authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary budget amendments (BCRs) required for implementing these appropriations.

Summary Explanation and Background:
On October 19, 2026, the Impact Fee Advisory Committees for North and South Facilities Impact Fee Benefit Districts met, and by unanimous vote, adopted project funding recommendations for consideration by the School Board. The Impact Fee Advisory Committees consist of one representative from each of the following: The Brevard County School Board, Brevard County, and each municipality within the Benefit District that has entered interlocal agreement with the County to participate in Educational Facilities Impact Fee Program.
The School Board approved the funding recommendations on October 27, 2026, to include the below listed projects:
• South Benefit District-$4,254,664.65 for South Area Capacity (Bayside High School)
• North Benefit District-$1,258,286.82 for North Area Capacity (Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School)
