It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve revisions to Board Policy BCC-32, “Acceptable Use of Technology Resources.”

Summary Explanation and Background:
In accordance with Board of County Commissioners Board Policy BCC-31, “Sunset Review of Programs, Services, Ordinances, Policies and Administrative Orders”, Board policies are reviewed every three (3) years to determine their relevance, appropriate department assignment, duplication, and to ensure alignment with current statutory requirements.
The Information Technology Department’s Policy Review Team conducted its scheduled review of Board Policy BCC-32, “Acceptable Use of Technology Resources,” and recommends approval of revisions consisting of grammatical corrections and updates to ensure compliance with current statutory and policy requirements.
The proposed revisions are included in the attached redline (strikethrough) document and have been reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office and the County Manager.
