Summary Explanation and Background:

On February 7, 2023, the Board authorized the County Manager to sign the Right-of-Entry to begin the USACE’s Environmental Assessment and Response for the Naval Air Station Banana River Off-base Disposal Area Designated as a FUDS site.  USACE wishes to provide a presentation regarding the current status and the next steps to begin on April 14^th which will include test pits on private property and within County rights-of-way.  Affected property owners have been notified.
