It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners consider approval of the disbursement of $500,000.00 in transportation impact fees in accordance with the recommendations prepared by the Transportation Impact Fee Technical Advisory Committee of the South Mainland Benefit District and authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary budget amendments (BCRs) required for implementing these appropriations.

Summary Explanation and Background:
The Transportation Impact Fee Technical Advisory Committee of South Mainland consists of representatives from the Town of Grant-Valkaria, Town of Malabar and Brevard County Public Works. On February 11, 2026, the committee met and unanimously approved the project funding recommendations on the attached project list.
The recommended projects include improvements by the Town of Grant-Valkaria for the design and paving of the following roads:
• Reynolds Road
• Puddle Duck Lane
• Hofbauer Way
