Summary Explanation and Background:

Britton & Kristy Sutherland requests variances of Chapter 62, Article VI, Brevard County Code as follows, 1.) Section 62-1334(5)(c)(2), to permit a variance of 8.5 ft. from the required 50-ft. side (west) setback for a barn; and 2.) Section 62-1334(5)(c)(3), to permit a variance of 6.6 ft. from the required 50-ft. rear setback for a barn in an AU (Agricultural Residential) zoning classification. The property is 2 acres, located on the south side of Avocado Ave., at the southeast corner of Avocado Ave. and Pine St. (4961 Avocado Ave., Cocoa)
