It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) review the attached applications for the North Brevard County Hospital District Board (the Board) for Seats 7 and 9 and approve the appointments. The appointment for Seat 9 is a joint approval and will go to the Titusville Council November 12, 2024.

Summary Explanation and Background:
The Board of County Commissioners must make two appointments to the North Brevard County Hospital District Board. One appointment is to be made by the Board of County Commissioners (Seat 7) and one appointment (Seat 9) is made by the Board of County Commissioners and confirmed by the City of Titusville. The City of Titusville will consider the BoCC’s applicant selection at its November 12, 2024, Council meeting.
Hospital Board Members must reside within the boundaries of the Hospital District. Each member will be appointed for a term of 4 years beginning on January 1, 2025.
The application deadline was set for noon, September 27, 2024. As in the past, the Application Advertisement included several questions, which each applicant is required to respond to. Staff advised the City of Titusville that the Board of County Commissioners will review applicants and make a selection for the joint appointment at this meeting.
