It is requested that the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners join in celebrating 25 years of the Brevard Commission on Aging Advisory Board.

Summary Explanation and Background:
Since 2001, the Brevard Commission on Aging has remained committed to serving as a voice for older adults through dedication, passion and continuous civic engagement. This year the members would like to commemorate 25 years of impacting the community for elder citizens throughout Brevard County.
At the Commission on Aging’s September 10, 2026 meeting, the members voted unanimously to recognize the Commission on Aging’s 25 years of notable service with a resolution presentation. Dr. John Potomski, Chair, and Tom Kammerdener, Vice-Chair, will accept the resolution on behalf of all members, past and present.
