Recommendation

It is requested the Board approve the appointment and reappointment as shown below to the County EMS Advisory Council.  Members serve a two (2) year term beginning October 1, 2024.

Summary Explanation and Background:

Brevard County Code of Ordinances, Article III, Section 42-88 established the EMS Advisory Council to carry out advisory duties for the betterment of emergency response capability across Brevard County as a whole.  Representation consists of the County Fire Rescue Chief or designee, one (1) representative from each of the hospital systems located in the County, one (1) representative from each private-based emergency medical educator, one (1) representative from each public-based emergency medical educator, and three (3) representatives from the Space Coast Fire Chiefs’ Association, representing the north, central, and south county geographical areas.
