Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners acknowledge receipt of the FY 2023-2024 Community Redevelopment Agencies' Annual Reports and recognize the FY 2024-2025 budget amendments for the City of Melbourne and the City of Titusville.

Summary Explanation and Background:
Pursuant to Section 163.371(2), Florida Statutes, Community Redevelopment Agencies (CRAs) must file an annual report with the Board of County Commissioners to include the FY 2023-24 financial statements and an independent auditors' report. The County has received annual reports from all of the CRAs within Brevard County for the period ending September 30, 2024, along with their most recent financial statements and completed audit report.
In addition, Section 163.387(6)(b), Florida Statutes, CRAs must submit amendments to their budget to the Board of County Commissioners. In May 2025, the County received two budget amendments from the City of Melbourne and the City of Titusville. The City of Melbourne's Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency has amended its budget to recognize Fund Balance (FB) of $280,156 from the prior fiscal year (PY) and allocated it to reserves. The City of Titusville has amended its budget by $44,646 to create a new Landscape Improvements project from the Landscape Improvements/US 1 Corridor project.
