Fiscal Impact:

If approved, a total of $2,117,209.00 in Transportation Impact Fees will be utilized for projects listed below. The impact fees that will fund the project recommendations have been collected and accumulated in Reserve for Capital Outlay until projects are identified and approved.

It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners consider approval of the disbursement of $2,117,209.00 in transportation impact fees in accordance with the recommendations prepared by the Transportation Impact Fee Technical Advisory Committee of the North Mainland Benefit District and authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary budget amendments (BCRs) required for implementing these appropriations.

Summary Explanation and Background:

The Transportation Impact Fee Technical Advisory Committee of the North Mainland Benefit District consists of representatives from the City of Titusville and Brevard County Public Works. On February 3, 2026, the committee met and unanimously approved the project funding recommendations on the attached project list.

 

A summary of the recommended projects is as follows:

 

                     Seville Ave Paving (Phase I) - $509,791.00 Improving approximately 1220 linear feet from 4460 Seville Avenue west to 4665 Seville Avenue.

                     Seville Ave Paving (Phase II) - $693,840.00 Improving approximately 1440 linear feet from 4090 Seville Avenue east to 3945 Seville Avenue.

                     Temple St Paving-    $253,578,00 Construction funds for approximately 1800 linear feet from Seville Avenue to Citrus Boulevard.

                     Grissom Parkway Widening -   $660,000.00 for design from Port Saint John Parkway to Fay Boulevard; feasibility study completed.
