Summary Explanation and Background:
The subject property is located in Section 34, Township 23 South, Range 36 East, adjacent to the west side of North Courtenay Parkway, east of Deanna Court and north of West Hall Road in Merritt Island.
The County has submitted Site Plan 24SP00015 for the construction of a new Fire Station, Fire Station No. 40, in north Merritt Island. As part of the project, a new water meter and fire service line will be connected to the City of Cocoa’s water main. The User Department approves this request.
This conveyance follows the policies and procedures as set forth in Administrative Order 37. As required by Florida Statue 125.38, conveyance of real property interest by the County requires the Board of County Commissioners to approve and authorize the Bill of Sale and to adopt a Resolution.
Clerk to the Board Instructions:
Upon execution by the Chair, the Public Works Department will contact the Clerk’s office to make arrangements to pick up the original executed Resolution, executed Water Line & Ingress/Egress Easement Agreement, and Bill of Sale.
