Summary Explanation and Background:
On May 3, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved Ordinance 2022-13. Section 2-217 requires that all County Advisory Boards submit an annual written report to the Board of County Commissioners at the beginning of each fiscal year.
Ordinance 2022-13 defines Advisory Boards as a board, commission, council, committee, subcommittees, workgroup or panel established by county ordinance, resolution or state statute to which appointments are made by a Commissioner or the Board of County Commissioners.

Section 2-213 (5) of Brevard County Ordinance 2022-13 provides that any appointee who does not maintain a satisfactory attendance record shall be dismissed from their appointment to the advisory board unless excused by the Board of County Commissioners.
The listing of appointees who have not demonstrated satisfactory attendance is attached. Those appointees whom a Commission Office has requested an excusal have been notated as “Excusal from Dismissal Requested”.
