Summary Explanation and Background:
Deputy Sheriff Barbara Pill was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop made in connection with stolen property on March 6, 2012. Barbara Pill had served the residents of Brevard County for 15 years as a Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputy (30 years in law enforcement). This road designation would be a fitting tribute to her memory.
