Recommendation
It is requested the Board:
1. Authorize the Chair to execute the Golf Course Properties Agreement with Golf Brevard, Inc. for the management, operation, maintenance and promotion of The Habitat Golf Course.
2. Authorize the County Manager to sign any associated budget change requests;
3. Authorize the County Manager to execute Contract renewal, amendments and/or modifications upon approval of Risk Management and the County Attorney's Office.

Summary Explanation and Background:
The Board of County Commissioners, in regular session on April 24, 2018, executed a Golf Course Properties Agreement with Golf Brevard, Inc. to manage, operate, maintain and promote Brevard County's Spessard Holland and The Habitat golf courses. The commencement date was September 1, 2018 and the expiration date of the Agreement was forty-nine months thereafter - September 30, 2022.
The Agreement included $390,000 in Transition Funding to Golf Brevard, Inc. that is to be repaid over three years starting in 2021. Golf Brevard, Inc. has paid $215,841.07and is scheduled to pay off the Transition Funding on time.
The partnership between the County and Golf Brevard, Inc. has been very successful. Golf Brevard, Inc. has demonstrated knowledge, expertise and experience in operating the County's golf courses. The courses conditions are excellent and customer comments / satisfaction have been extremely positive.
