Summary Explanation and Background:
The Parks and Recreation Department is continuing its effort to enhance WIFI speeds and available bandwidth at their campgrounds. Most recently, a Request for Proposals was advertised on March 10, 2022. One Proposal was received and opened on April 28, 2022.
On March 21, 2022, a Selection Committee consisting of Steve Kimball, Parks & Recreation; Lois Boisseau, Information Technology; Jessica Breault, Parks & Recreation; Richard Tucci, Parks & Recreation; and Shawn Kittles, Parks & Recreation met to review and rank the response. Based on the Selection Committees’ review and recommendation, the Proposer’s solution and pricing did not meet the Parks & Recreation Department’s needs and the Committee unanimously voted to reject the response.
