It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chair to execute a Transportation Impact Fee Trust Fund Disbursement Agreement; appropriate up to $1,200,000 to the City of Cape Canaveral; and authorize the Budget Office to execute any budget changes required to implement project appropriations.

Summary Explanation and Background:
On August 10, 2022 the Technical Advisory Committee for the Merritt Island/North Beaches Benefit District recommended that the Board of County Commissioners execute the attached Transportation Impact Fee Trust Fund Disbursement Agreement with the City of Cape Canaveral. The agreement obligates the County to appropriate transportation impact fees collected within the incorporated limits of the City of Cape Canaveral up to $1,200,000.00 for the Thurm Boulevard Complete Streets project to be administered by the City of Cape Canaveral. This project was unanimously approved and recommended by the Technical Advisory Committee.
The Technical Advisory Committee consists of one representative from the County, Cape
Canaveral and Cocoa Beach.
