It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve and accept the attached Temporary Drainage Easement.

Summary Explanation and Background:

The subject property is located in Sections 20 and 29, Township 26 South, Range 36 East, south of Pineda Boulevard and southeast of Stadium Parkway in Viera.

The Viera Company is developing the area west of Interstate 95 along the proposed extension of Stadium Parkway south of Pineda Boulevard.  As part of the project they will be constructing four temporary stormwater ponds to support the construction of Stadium Parkway Segment E.  The ponds are located east of the right of way within lands that are planned for future development.  This easement will be temporary until development plans are completed and a final plat is approved.

The User Department approves this request.

This acquisition follows the policies and procedures as set forth in Administrative Order 37.
