Fiscal Impact:
Fiscal Year - 2021-2022 - There will be no impact to the General Fund. Funds will be budgeted in HOME Investment Partnerships Program grant Cost Center 1472-303052 and Community Block Grant Cost Center 1470-303051.

Requested Action:
Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners (1) conduct the second and final Public Hearing; (2) approve the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan; authorize the Chair to execute the required certifications and SF-424 Applications for Federal Assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development; (4) authorize the County Manager or his designee to execute the Community Development Block Grant Program and HOME Investment Partnerships Program Grant Agreements and Disbursement Agreements with the four Brevard County HOME Consortium member cities upon approval from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development; (5) authorize the County Manager or his designee to sign contractual agreements, modifications, and amendments for projects identified in the Action Plan (including any associated budgetary changes) after approval from Risk Management and the County Attorney's Office; (6) authorize the Housing and Human Services Department, as contract administrators, to use competitive processes to secure contractors to complete proposed projects and services, and (7) authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary budget change requests.
