Per Florida Statute 197.402 (1) the Office of the Brevard County Tax Collector request approval for Florida Today to advertise delinquent taxes for annual Tax Certificate Sale and Issuance of Warrants.

Summary Explanation and Background:
Florida Today has historically worked with the Office of the Tax Collector to advertise delinquent property taxes, which allows the office to carry out it’s statutory duties of selling tax certificates for delinquent real estate taxes and the issuance of warrants for delinquent tangible personal property taxes. The Tax Collector’s Office and Florida Today have a smooth system in place for the transfer of data required for this advertising and therefore requests the continued use of Florida Today as the service provider.
