It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners: 1) approve and authorize the Chair to execute the attached Contract for Sale and Purchase and 2) waive the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment requirement.

Summary Explanation and Background:
The subject parcel is located in Section 24, Township 21 South, Range 34 East, at the north end of Sir Page Lane, south of Squires Drive, and is part the Sherwood Golf Club in Titusville.
Brevard County Utility Services Department is planning a reconstruction project to improve the N-07 Lift Station. With the acquisition of the parcel, the department will have the ability to reconstruct the existing N-07 Lift Station.
The zoning/land use for this parcel is RU-1-13/Vacant Residential Land (Single Family, Unplatted). Based on the current use as a residential parcel and the intended use by the department, the department requests the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment be waived.
Staff has verified with Planning and Zoning that there are no restrictions preventing the intended use of the parcel by the Department.
The User Department approves this request.
This acquisition follows the policies and procedures as set forth in Administrative Order 37.
Clerk to the Board Instructions:
Upon execution by the Chair, Public Works Department will make arrangements to pick up the original executed Contract for Sale and Purchase from the Clerk to the Board office.
