Summary Explanation and Background:

On April 28, 2015 the Board of County Commissioners executed a Lease Agreement with the City of Cocoa for the building located at 400 S. Varr Avenue, Cocoa for the Brevard County Housing and Human Services Department’s Community Action Team. The term was for two (2) years commencing July 22, 2015 with two (2) additional two-year renewal periods; expiring July 10, 2021.

The Community Action Team is currently vacating the facility to move into the newly constructed Dr. Joe Lee Smith Community Center located at 415 Stone Street, Cocoa. Therefore, they wish for Facilities to terminate the Lease with the City of Cocoa early.
