FY20/21: The Correctional Facilities Impact Fee Trust Fund is expected to carry forward $1,261,257 from FY19/20 and collect an additional $214,292 in new Correctional Facilities Impact Fees in FY20/21. This is more than adequate to fund the requested project.

Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners consider approval of the project funding recommendations in the amount of $151,399.83 as prepared by the Correctional Facilities Impact Fee Advisory Committee on July 15, 2020; and if approved, authorize the Budget Office to execute any budget change requests necessary for implementing these appropriations.

The Correctional Facilities Impact Fee Advisory Committee met on July 15, 2020and unanimously adopted the project funding recommendation itemized below. The Technical Advisory Committee consists of one representative from Brevard County and each of the municipalities in Brevard County.
Project Funding Recommendation:
1. Appropriate an additional $151,399.83 for the Video Surveillance Monitoring Project to facilitate the acquisition and installation of an additional 88 video cameras at the Brevard County Jail Complex to be administered by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
