CareerSource Brevard requests the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners approve updates to the CareerSource Brevard Board of Directors Bylaws.

Summary Explanation and Background:
20 CFR Section 679.310 (g) requires the Chief Local Elected Official (CLEO) to establish bylaws,consistent with State policy for Local Workforce Development Board membership. The Brevard County Board of County Commission serves as the CLEO for the Local Workforce Development Board.
CareerSource Brevard’s Bylaws were last modified in February 2018. Any changes must be approved by the Full Board of Directors and by the Brevard Board of County Commissioners. At its meeting on May 21, 2020 the Board of Directors updated the Strategic Plan for the next three years which necessitated the following changes to the current Bylaws (attached):
