Recommendation

It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners grant final plat approval and authorize the Chair to sign the final plat for the above referenced project.

Summary Explanation and Background:

This project has been reviewed under Section 62-2805 (d) of the code as a minor subdivision.   The subdivision contains 3 commercial lots and does not require the creation of new streets or right-of-way. Clearing, filling, and stub-outs for utilities and stormwater management will be completed with the site plan for Grand Oaks Apartments. Staff has reviewed the final plat and has determined that it is in compliance with all applicable ordinances. 

 

The Oakwood Landing Commercial subdivision is located on North Wickham Road approximately 0.07 miles south of Jordan Blass Drive.  The plat contains 3 lots on approximately 3.43 acres. 

 

This approval is subject to minor changes, if necessary, and receipt of all documents required for recording.  Board approval of this project does not relieve the developer from obtaining all other necessary jurisdictional permits.
