There will be no expenditures directly to KBB, nor does the County receive revenue from KBB. This agreement will allow KBB to provide litter clean up services on County property.

Recommendation
It is requested the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement with Keep Brevard Beautiful, Inc. for an Adopt-An-Area program.
It is further requested the Board approve and authorize the Parks and Recreation Department Director to execute the renewal and amendments upon County Attorney and Risk Management approval.

Summary Explanation and Background:
Keep Brevard Beautiful, Inc. encourages local organizations and groups to adopt areas within the County and perform special event cleanups to keep the areas free of litter. If the Agreement is approved, County parks, parklands, and roads would be included in the Adopt-An-Area program. The organizations and groups will adopt a minimum of one-mile radius of a park or parkland or a minimum of one-mile of road and perform litter removal at least four times a year.
The original term of the Agreement is five years with the possibility of one additional two-year renewal.
