Summary Explanation and Background:

Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) has requested the ability to place a 53 ft. long, 9ft. 6 in. tall, and 8 ft. 8 in. wide storage shed at Lori Wilson Park, adjacent to an existing shed on the North side of the park.  The shed will be used to house equipment that KBB uses to clean the beaches under a contract with the City of Cocoa Beach that is funded by Tourist Development Tax.  The City of Cocoa Beach subcontracts KBB to clean the beaches in Cocoa Beach from the Cocoa Beach Pier to Minuteman Causeway.  Providing this access to the park and the beaches will be more efficient than their current location which is not beachfront.

A Property Access License Agreement has been drafted and the AO-29 has been circulated and signed off on by Purchasing, Risk Management, and the County Attorney’s Office. KBB has also signed the agreement.
