Summary Explanation and Background:
The applicant is requesting a change of zoning classification from PIP to BU-2 in order to develop the site as a storage yard for boat and RV storage. The south 15 feet +/- of the subject has an existing BDP the applicant would like to retain. The subject property would not be permitted to be developed as a commercial parking lot for cruise ship parking without a Conditional Use Permit approved by the Board of County Commission for such use.

The Board may wish to consider if the proposed rezoning request is consistent and compatible with the surrounding area.
