It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chair to execute two (2) Assignment of Agreements for Engineering and Consulting Services. One Agreement is specifically for Stormwater Projects- Service A, and the other Agreement is for Muck Dredging Projects.

Summary Explanation and Background:
Brevard County entered into Agreements with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. on January 28, 2020 and May 8, 2020 as described below. Brevard County received notification from Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. on January 4, 2023, that WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure, Inc., had acquired Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. on September 21, 2022. WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. is requesting an assignment of the Agreement for the merger.

On January 28, 2020, Brevard County entered an Agreement with Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc for Engineering and Consulting Services, relating to Muck Dredging Projects for: geotechnical investigations; environmental permit applications; bidding and construction management services; civil & stormwater design; seagrass and wetland surveys, delineation and mapping; protected species permitting and relocation; mitigation/restoration project design, implementation, monitoring and reporting; as well as feasibility studies and design evaluation for dredging, effluent treatment and dewatering technology for sediment/demucking management projects.
