It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve and accept the attached Quit-Claim Deed.

Summary Explanation and Background:

The subject property is located in Section 24, Township 23 South, Range 36 East, west of Southwest B Avenue along East Crisafulli Road in Merritt Island.

IFP Development, LLC, owner, has submitted plat number 21FM00017 for review and approval by the County for the Island Forest Preserve subdivision. IFP Development, LLC obtained the parcel by Warranty Deed recorded in Official Records Book 9025, page 802.  The legal description conveyed in their deed included right of way along East Crisafulli Road. A portion of the right of way included in said deed was previously claimed by Maintenance Map recorded in Road Plat Book 2, Page 12. As required for the approval of the Plat, the County has requested the owner convey both the remainder of the right of way and the portion already claimed by the filing of the maintenance map as defined in the legal description. This will definitively establish maintenance and ownership responsibilities for that portion of East Crisifulli Road.

The User Department approves this request.

This acquisition follows the policies and procedures as set forth in Administrative Order 37.
