Fiscal Impact:
FY23-24: There will be no impact to the General Fund. The required match ($333,333 year one) will be met using in-kind (salaries, services, pro bono mental health services, etc.) from Brevard Family Partnership, Inc. and their partner agencies. If the grant is awarded, these in-kind funds will be tracked and monitored for compliance.

Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners authorize:
1. the Director of the Housing and Human Services Department (Director) as the Authorized Grantee Official;
2. the Director to submit the grant application (including all forms);
3. the Director to sign all related agreements, modifications, and contracts as required upon approval of Risk Management and the County Attorney's Office upon grant award;
4. all related grant funded travel; and,
5. the County Manager to sign all necessary Budget Change Requests.

Summary Explanation and Background:
On March 12, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Housing and Human Services Department's submission of this grant in partnership with Brevard Family Partnership, Inc. (BFP) and on August 31, 2020, the first 4-year grant was awarded. This request is to seek a second 4-year award to serve the residents of Brevard County.
